Welcome!
Hi There,
I'm Matt. I spent the first 30 years of my life living in the Sutherland
Shire in Sydney, Australia. I now live in Canberra with my wife and 2 children.
For a living, I develop Web Applications; programs that run across the internet.
This is a small and simple website but I hope you find something interesting
or entertaining here. To read about the evolution of this website and its
purpose, be sure to have a look at the "About this website" section.
To my professional friends and colleagues, this website is not a showcase of
my skills. Its somewhere for me to have my "rave therapy".
Wha's hapnin'??
Well, I made it to 2007 for starters. Now I'm looking for that
elusive permanent position with my employer. Wish me luck.
The biggest news is that we've got some much needed rain; its raining
as I write this. Now we just need another three months of the same
and just maybe the drought will be broken.
Did you manage to see the Al Gore film "An Inconvenient Truth" when
it was in cinemas? If you didn't, check it out. Its the most important
film you'll ever see. You be the judge. Its now out on DVD.
Today is 4 years since the Canberra Fires. Check the link below to revisit
that fateful day.
I recently had my Kia off the road for two months. You can read the sorry
tale by following the link below.
Peace and tolerance my friends :)
M@.
